Texas authorities have continued their search for Savanah Nicole Soto after the pregnant 18-year-old went missing the weekend she was set to give birth.

Soto was last seen Friday in Leon Valley, Texas and is believed to have passed her delivery date, police said in a press release.

Her disappearance “caused significant concern among her family members after missing an essential medical appointment,” police said.

Soto’s boyfriend has also been unable to be reached; Soto’s mother Gloria Cordova said in a Facebook post that he was “no good.”
The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a CLEAR alert late Christmas night that characterized Soto as being ‘in imminent danger’

“This is not like her,” Cordova told KSAT. “She was so excited to have this baby. The house was already baby-ready.”

“When I called her all morning she wasn't answering, was going straight to voicemail,” she continued. “We went to the hospital anyways. She was a no-show, and that's when I called the cops”

The Leon Valley Police Department says the boyfriend of a missing pregnant 18-year-old is now also considered to be a missing person.

The department issued a CLEAR Alert on Monday for Savanah Nicole Soto, whose baby was a week overdue when she was scheduled to go to the hospital to be induced on Saturday night. She never appeared.
Leon Valley Police said Tuesday afternoon that Matthew Guerra is also classified as a missing person. An officer said Guerra's family originally contacted San Antonio Police, who then forwarded the case to Leon Valley.

"There are two people in the car. They are deceased," San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said. "We believe it is the missing woman and her boyfriend." An official identification will come later, he said.

McManus said it wasn't clear what had happened that led to the two victims' deaths.

"It's a very, very perplexing crime scene," he said. "Detectives are looking at this as a possible murder, but we're not sure. We can't say for sure what we have."

The discovery of the bodies happened Tuesday afternoon when someone alerted the family that the car had been found in an apartment complex parking lot in northwest San Antonio. The family notified San Antonio Police, who went to the scene.

McManus said police believe the car had been in the parking lot for three to four days.
Savanah's grandmother, Rachel Soto, said Tuesday night, they are still waiting for answers from police as to what led up to Savanah's death.

“She was a good girl, she didn’t deserve to go this way, especially with her baby," Soto said. "He was an innocent child, nobody deserved this.”

The pregnant Texas teen who is believed to have been killed alongside her boyfriend had lost her younger brother in a shooting — and her family attacked his alleged killer during a massive brawl in court.

The apparent bodies of Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, who vanished before she was scheduled to be induced, and Matthew Guerra, 22, have been found inside his car outside the Colinas at Medical Apartments in San Antonio.

It has emerged that Soto’s family was already reeling from the death of her 15-year-old brother, Ethan Soto, who police said was murdered in May 2022.

Victor Nathaneal Rivas, 18, was awaiting his appearance for his murder trial in October when chaos unfolded inside the Bexar County courtroom, where he made a gesture toward the grieving family.

One of Soto’s relatives jumped the railing and began beating the suspect before three others joined the fracas, which happened in front of a bench full of other inmates as two bailiffs rushed in to separate the combatants, video obtained by KSAT shows.

Rivas, who suffered minor injuries in the melee, was accused of killing Ethan as an act of revenge for when the younger teen allegedly robbed THC cartridges from him.

The suspect allegedly shot at Soto at his family’s home, but the 15-year-old was not injured in that shooting.

Ethan’s mom met up with Rivas to pay for the cartridges, an interaction Rivas has denied, according to the news outlet.

Rivas later asked a girl on Instagram to set up a drug deal with Ethan and “stated several times that he was looking for the person who robbed him and was going to ‘catch’ him when he saw him,” according to an affidavit.

The underage girl and Ethan arranged to meet up for a drug deal involving the stolen cartridges before he was allegedly ambushed and fatally shot by Rivas.

REVEALED: Pregnant teen Savannah Soto, 18, had a restraining order against boyfriend after he assaulted her last Christmas: Pair were found shot dead in car in Texas

The Texas pregnant mom who went missing days ago and has now been found dead alongside her boyfriend had a restraining order against him, court documents show.

'You are prohibited from intentionally, knowingly or recklessly communicating with Savannah Soto, whether by telephone, in writing, or in person in a harmful or injurious manner,' court records state.

The documents do not provide details on the 2022 assault.

The family of Savanah Nicole Soto’s boyfriend does not believe he killed the pregnant Texas teen who went missing on the day she was supposed to be induced — as it was revealed that no firearms or cellphones were discovered in the car where cops found the couple’s bullet-riddled bodies.
Gabriel Guerra, whose son Matthew Guerra, 22, was found dead alongside his girlfriend, Soto, 18, outside a San Antonio apartment complex, insisted that his child was not responsible for the couple’s deaths.

“They were inseparable. Was it a perfect relationship? No, but she definitely was not a prisoner there,” he told KENS5.
Guerra’s father and stepmother described how the couple was looking forward to the arrival of baby Fabian.

“We still can’t believe we’re just never going to meet him,” Guerra’s stepmother, Raquel Guerra, told Fox San Antonio.

Pregnant Texas teen Savanah Soto and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra both died of gunshot wounds to their heads but the person responsible for their deaths remains a mystery, according to officials.
The revelation comes after the bodies of Soto, 18, and Guerra, 22 were found on Tuesday in a car park outside a Northwest Side apartment complex in San Antonio. Their unborn baby was also declared dead.

“Soto’s death [has been ruled] a homicide from a gunshot wound to the head,” a spokesman for The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office told The Post.
The coroner also listed Guerra’s cause of death as a “contact gunshot wound to the head” but has not yet determined whether it was a suicide or homicide, the spokesman added.

“Guerra is still a pending matter,” he said.

Are the SAPD/coroner's office proposing that Matthew had some kind of magic disappearing gun here? And that it magically destroyed all evidence of existing cell phones too? Heck, I admit that I jumped on the murder-suicide possibilities from the jump. Then we learned there was a previous restraining order, but if there were no guns and no cell phones in the car, it's pretty damn clear that murder-suicide isn't the case here. This is becoming too fantastical... :shifty:

father and son are facing new charges after being arrested in connection with the deaths of a pregnant woman and her boyfriend.
Police initially charged Christopher Ray Preciado, 19, with capital murder, but then added abuse of a corpse and alter or destroy a human corpse on Thursday. His father, Ramon Preciado, 53, had a charge of alter or destroy a human corpse added on after initially facing an abuse of a corpse charge for helping his son move the bodies after the murders of Savanah Soto, 18, and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Matthew Guerra, 22.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed that Soto and Guerra both died from a gunshot wound to the head.

While investigators were waiting on a search warrant for the vehicle, they were told by family members that Matthew sold narcotics and would use his cell phone to set up drug deals. According to the police report, "it was also advised that the boyfriend would post money and narcotics on Instagram. It was stated that people wanted to rob (Matthew) and it was stated that (he) had been shot at before."
According to the police report, Christopher told detectives that Matthew pointed a gun at him and during a struggle, Savannah was shot. Christopher said another struggle took place that resulted in Matthew being shot in the head.
Detectives said that Christopher's version of the events were "inconsistent with the evidence collected from the scene and from the victim's vehicle," according to the police report.
As the investigation continues, authorities say they are working to unveil the full extent of the crimes committed by this father and son duo, leaving a community in shock and mourning.
