You could say that about anyone who has ever had charges. I've had a DUI and I smoke pot. Does that make me a "terrible person" ? You need to remember this is about a child who violently lost her life. Nothing her parents did led to this. Letting her go to her aunt's house? My kids go to my sister's house all the time. My friend who dated the father and had been around both kids, said she never saw anything from him that was concerning. Look at the pictures of Lily. Do you see how happy she is? Well cared for? I feel sorry for you that you are this hateful. Have the day you deserve. What a terrible bunch of people. I feel sorry for these kids. Both of them in a way but the boys photos totally gives me Ted Bundy vibes.
I'm not burying my head in shit. I admitted they have their problems. Why don't you save your hate for the people who actually murder their kids, cos we all know there is plenty. Sorry they aren't as perfect as you. People make mistakes. People have problems, but in THIS instance, the parents did NOTHING to get their child murdered. But since you clearly enjoy being a hateful, judgmental c*nt, nothing I say will make a difference. I sure hope YOU don't have any kids, cos the apple won't fall far from the c*nt tree. People like you fuck up their kids more than anyone.Oh please. This family had massive problems going on that they chose to bring children into. Just from a few short posts here you can see alcohol and drug dependancy, violent domestic assaults, multiple dui convictions, and a convicted pedophile who happens to be the father of the boy who just committed a rape and murder on a prepubescent girl.
If you want to bury your head in the sand and say this family isnt fuckin up their kids then good for you.
Adults making bad decisions harms their children. Period
How can you say this like you know it to be true when Carson Peters-Bergers dad spent three years in jail for having pornographic pictures of prepubescent girls on his phone? You could say that about anyone who has ever had charges. Probably. I was more talking about Lily's parents who are being attacked when they didn't do anything wrong. This was a close family, and the boy had walked her home many times. There were no signs he ever wanted to harm Lily. None. And just because someone has a fucked up, disgusting father doesn't automatically mean the kid is gonna be fucked up. I know there are people on here that can attest to that. In this case tho, obviously he's fucked in the head. How can you say this like you know it to be true when Carson Peters-Bergers dad spent three years in jail for having pornographic pictures of prepubescent girls on his phone?
And now his kid goes and done did this..
It sure sounds likely that the boy picked up some sort of fucked behaviors somewhere, and it sure as hell sounds a lot like his old mans preferences.
No, I agree about that. You are not doomed if your parents are shit. You probably have a poorer chance of ending up as a good person depending on the level of shit you've been put through. And if you do not have anybody to level out the amount of shit with some good, then you are even worse off.Probably. You could be right. I'm sure now that something has happened, people will realized what they missed. He has an 11 year old sister, and I would be curious to know if she ever experienced any fucked up shit. I did hear that his sister was the one who alerted Grandma, and grandma called the cops. No, I agree about that. You are not doomed if your parents are shit. I will however not be surprised if the next thing to come in this case is that the boy had showed some deviant behaviors that the mother and/or other close family closed their eyes to because it was to hard to deal with.
In an interview with a detective on April 26, the suspect allegedly said that he and Peters left a home together in Chippewa Falls and initially followed a nearby trail. According to the complaint, the suspect said that “it was already his intention to rape and kill” Peters.
The complaint continues, revealing the suspect asked the victim to go off the trail with him to explore in the woods. The suspect then killed and raped the victim, and left the area when “he became scared,” the complaint alleges.
When the suspect returned home, the complaint states that he showered and put his clothes in the laundry before hearing that the victim was missing. According to the complaint, the suspect said he determined that he needed to hide her better. He returned to the victim’s body and hid her by covering her with leaves, the complaint states. Her body was found the next morning, not far from where her bicycle was found by someone who was out searching for her.
A status conference hearing is now set for June 27, at 9:30 a.m., at which time the suspect will appear virtually, along with his new attorney, Michael Cohen. The conference will allow prosecutors, defense, and the court to establish future court dates in the case. The June date was selected to give the defendant and his attorney time to review the case materials. The teen is currently being held on a $1 million cash bond.
he document details an interview with the suspect and a police detective on April 26, two days after Lily Peters went missing in Chippewa Falls. Lily had been visiting her aunt’s home on April 24 and failed to return home.
It states the suspect admitted to helping Lily get her bike. He told the investigators that Lily rode her bike on a trail while he was on a hoverboard.
“[Redacted] stated when they left the house it was already his intention to rape and kill victim,” reads the complaint. The suspect stated he asked Lily to go exploring and they walked into the woods and up a hill. The suspect stated he hit Lily in the head about three times with a large stick. He then admitted to strangling Lily and then attempting to sexually assault her, according to the complaint.
The complaint states the boy admitted to biting Lily. An autopsy found bite marks on her left buttocks, according to the complaint.
The boy told investigators that he returned home, showered and put his dirty clothes in the laundry.
After news came that Lily was missing, he said he needed to “hide her better” and returned to the scene and moved her body a few feet and covered her with leaves.
The Chippewa County coroner said preliminary autopsy results found Lily Peters suffered strangulation and blunt force trauma. The report found biological evidence of a sexual assault, according to the complaint.
A little after the 13 minute mark it gets a little rough - be warned
Also learned the requirements of getting an Amber Alert & sadly Lily's case did not meet the requirements.
A Wisconsin teenager accused of killing a 10-year-old girl will find out in September whether he will stand trial.
Chippewa County Circuit Judge Benjamin Lane on Friday scheduled a Sept. 1 preliminary hearing for the 14-year-old boy, identified in court documents as C.T.P.-B. That's the step in the criminal justice process where a judge determines if enough evidence exists to bind a defendant over for trial.
The boy was charged in adult court on April 27 with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree sexual assault of a child under age 13 in connection with the killing of Iliana Peters, who was known as Lily. Anyone who is at least 10 years old and is accused of first- or second-degree homicide is considered an adult in Wisconsin's court system.
The boy's attorney, Michael Cohen, told Lane on Friday that he was upset that someone posted a video online that included recordings of police communications in the moments Lily's body was found and that characterized the boy as a "little monster." Cohen alleged that someone in law enforcement leaked confidential information to the poster and demanded the judge issue a gag order. He didn't specify against whom, though.
Lane asked Cohen for the link to the video and stated that anyone with access to investigatory materials should keep them confidential and their release could jeopardize the boy's right to a fair trial.
Lily Peters case: Hearing set for WI teen accused of killing, sexually assaulting 10-year-old girl

A lawyer for a 14-year-old Wisconsin boy accused of killing a 10-year-old girl after luring her into the woods said Thursday that he will seek to have the case moved from adult to juvenile court.
During a brief Zoom appearance in Chippewa County Circuit Court, attorney Michael Cohen said he planned to file the request in the coming weeks. Judge Benjamin Lane found probable cause during the hearing to proceed to trial after the teen waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
The boy appeared with Cohen from the juvenile detention center where he is being held on $1 million bail. Anyone who is at least 10 years old and is accused of first- or second-degree homicide is considered an adult in Wisconsin’s court system.
Lane set a status conference for Sept. 29 to set a schedule for the hearing that will determine whether the case is moved to juvenile court.
The case of a 15-year-old Wisconsin boy accused of killing a 10-year-old girl after luring her into woods will remain in adult court, a judge has ruled.
Chippewa County Judge Steve Gibbs ruled Monday that C. P.-B., who will turn 16 in March and is charged with brutally killing 10-year-old Lily Peters, will remain in adult court.
C. P.-B. is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree sexual assault and first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13 resulting in great bodily harm. It was not immediately clear when the defendant’s full name would be released by the court.
Gibbs’ 22-page ruling states an adult court is best positioned to address the seriousness of the crimes alleged.
In arguing against the request, Chippewa County District Attorney Wade Newell asserted that transferring the case to the juvenile court system “would depreciate the seriousness of the offense.”
“The actions of the defendant were violent and egregious in nature,” Newell states. “The defendant’s actions were premeditated with a particular goal in mind — the rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl. The defendant’s actions were not mitigated by impulsivity but a premeditated plan, which was carried out with brutality and was vicious in nature.”
Defense attorney Michael Cohen argued that treatment in the adult criminal justice system will not be adequate to address C.P.-B’s needs.
“The defense asserts that the adversity experienced during C.P.-B.’s childhood cannot be disregarded when determining whether his case should be transferred to juvenile court,” Cohen argued. “The defense argues that despite his high ACE score, Dr. Garbarino found that C.P.-B is in a position developmentally and socially to transition into normal adulthood if he receives appropriate services in juvenile court.”
Newell said the juvenile system’s limit of involvement with defendants at 25 years old would prevent C.P.-B. from receiving long-term supervision.
Cohen countered that the juvenile system is better equipped to handle young defendants who are still developing and have an ability for rehabilitation over incarceration.
I just took the ACE test. I'm a 7 too. Who knew? And strangely, I haven't killed anyone either. Maybe we haven't murdered anyone because we lack the family-raper gene?My ACE Score is 7, but I've managed to not kill anyone yet.
He bit her, that indicates complete frenzy. He's a budding sexual sadist. Bundy liked his victims unconscious or dead (yes, necrophilia) because "you can do anything to them."
